THE COMPANY

A public biopharmaceutical company developing new cancer therapies with a distinct mechanism of action.

THE POSITION

The Senior Director/VP Clinical Development – Oncology will be a critical part of The Company's development program reporting to the SVP of clinical development.

REQUIREMENTS

• M.D. degree, or equivalent, with board certification/specialization in Oncology.
• At least 5-7 years of relevant drug development
• Proven clinical development strategist with experience designing, implementing and conducting clinical trials,
• Understanding of regulatory and other ethical guidelines relevant to the pharmaceutical industry.
• Provide supervision and training for project teams.
• Provide medical surveillance on Serious Adverse Events including after hour emergencies if needed.
• Assist with strategy of new scientific developments, competitor products abd research in oncology therapies.
• Ability to multi-task while working within a fast paced and dynamic environment.
• Detail and team oriented with excellent cross-functional team leadership and participation skills.
• Supervise and manage clinical personnel and CRO relationships.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
